Jake Gyllenhaal to Make Broadway Debut in Constellations

first_img Gyllenhaal, Payne and Longhurst will reunite after working together on the American premiere of If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet in 2012 off-Broadway. Constellations marks the Great White Way debuts of all three artists. Additional casting and creative team will be announced shortly. Jake Gyllenhaal Related Shows Constellations tells the story of one relationship with infinite possibilities. It explores the boundless potential of a first encounter, free will and friendship. The play opened at the Royal Court’s Jerwood Theatre Upstairs in 2012, directed by Longhurst, before transferring to the West End. Gyllenhaal made his New York stage debut in If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet and starred in the revival of Kenneth Lonergan’s This is Our Youth in London’s West End in 2002. He earned an Oscar nomination for his performance in Brokeback Mountain and his additional film credits include Prisoners, Enemy, Source Code, Love and Other Drugs, End of Watch, Donnie Darko and the upcoming Nightcrawler and Everest. Fr Brian hoping for a close shave, trim and plenty of funds!

first_imgA popular priest in having his beloved locks cut in a bid to raise much-needed funds for the youth of his local parish.Fr Brian Ó’Fearraigh is renowned across West Donegal for his mane of generous hair.But now the cleric has decided he’s for the chop in a bid to raise some much-needed cash. The money raised will go towards providing a dedicated Youth Drop-In Centre, Ionad Óige Ghaoth Dobhair.It is hoped that this multi-purpose Youth Resource Centre will meet the social, recreational, educational and personal needs of the community’s young people.Fr Brian’s sponsored cut and shave will take in no less than three locations on September 15th next.The first cut begins in Leo’s Tavern at 9.30pm, moving to Sean Óg’s for 10.30pm and finishing the shave in Teach Mhici at 11.30pm.
